I was born on August 29, 1972, in Marinha Grande. From an early age I got used to adapting to new situations. At the age of 7 I moved to another city, only to return 4 years later. After an adolescence that I consider normal, I left, at 19, to study Marketing and Advertising in Lisbon. It was exactly what you wanted. Three years later I finished my bachelor's degree and began my professional activity, in 1995, at the Technological Center for the Mold, Special Tools and Plastics Industry. It was back to basics. I took the opportunity to obtain training in Advanced Marketing for SME Managers, with the intention of reinforcing my professional performance.​

I then discovered a taste for international business contact.

 

At the end of 1998 I moved to another region of the country, having started my career as a trainer, at the same time as I started out on my own, in the area of ​​graphic design, advertising and business plans. I felt it was time to continue my academic studies, having completed my degree in Marketing and Advertising - Strategic Marketing component in 2000.

5 years later I returned to Marinha Grande and, with a partner, founded the Business Information Agency, aiming to support Portuguese companies without an export structure, thus facilitating their internationalization. Some time later I assumed, in the same company system and this time in the opposite direction, a representation of laboratory products of Franco-Belgian origin, developing its commercial operations in Portugal.​

​

The 2009 crisis was punishing for both companies, which ended up being unable to overcome the challenge. In a realistic attitude, taking advantage of my experience in international markets, I decided to make my services available to two companies, one commercial and the other industrial, consolidating the export expansion of both.

​

Having achieved my objectives, I headed to Lisbon to take on a new challenge in the area of ​​media and advertising. I developed consistent work with many clients, which I replaced when I became Associate Manager at a leading multinational. I was fortunate to develop work in a multicultural environment, having had the opportunity to impact (hopefully positively) the daily work of more than 600 people.​

The "internationalization bug" continued to manifest itself and some time later, by one of those "chances" in life, I met an old training colleague, who a few years ago owned a consulting company with diversified services, and who needed to complement them with an international marketing and communications service.

​

I embraced this project with enthusiasm (as is my habit), which turned out to be (another) very rich experience in personal and professional terms. I developed products and markets for our company and our customers. Developed new services. new business and managed teams and suppliers. I did business training, consultancy and coaching, especially startups and (re)launches.​

​

Training never ends and there is always room for improvement. In the meantime, I underwent training in the areas of psychology, team management, e-marketing, emotional intelligence, habits and performance, in order to update and complement the knowledge and skills acquired over the years. I am also certified in project management by Google and I am an International Professional Coach certified by Be:Coach (Jorge Coutinho) and Personal & Professional  Coach, certified by Instituto Kronos (Silas Neves).
